The Role
Encore Media are looking for a Content Producer to research and create viable, sustainable content for the TechEx portfolio of exhbitions. The opportunities around this market are substantial and would provide an excellent career path for an exceptional Content Producer.
Job Responsibilities
- Research & Analysis – in-depth phone based research of key subject areas and hot topics
- Speaker Acquisition – sourcing, selecting and securing the participation of high level industry leading speakers
- Copy Writing – sales-driven brochure, web, direct mail and email copy to drive quality and quantity of visitor numbers.
- Project Management – working with the project team of marketing, sales and logistics managers to deliver to deadline and budget
- Onsite Delivery – meticulous on-site execution of content to exceptional standards of customer service

The Content Producer Role
Encore Media are looking for a Content Producer to research and create viable, sustainable content for the TechEx portfolio of exhbitions. The opportunities around this market are substantial and would provide an excellent career path for an exceptional Content Producer.
Reporting Structure:
The Content Producer will report to Group Head of Conference.
Key Objectives:
- To work in partnership with the relevant brand to develop commercially viable content based on in-depth market research
- To carry out comprehensive research into the relevant market and topic
- To write promotionally-led programme and copy that are in the language of the market
- To acquire top level speakers as defined during the research phase
- To always work within the timelines and deadlines specified
- To manage the conference on the day to ensure the most successful event possible
- To carry out post-conference administration
- To work closely and develop excellent relationships with Marketing, Operations and Sales teams
Research Phase:
- Carry out open-ended research in order to ensure that the market is not biased and that the true picture is gained
- Define the commercial angle of the content: ‘must know’ rather than ‘nice to know’
- Write an event brief for internal use to make sure all departments are aware of event details.
- Liaise with other teams on a regular basis as agreed with the manager
Copywriting:
- Develop content that is commercially written and totally relating to the results of research
- Ensure that the content is ‘weighted’ to reflect the top issues in the market
Speaker Acquisition:
- Always aim for the highest calibre of speaker possible
- Work with exhibition teams to identify best speakers and use brand resources where appropriate to secure top names
Achieving Deadlines
- Discuss with the Content Manager any potential problems that may affect achieving deadlines to ensure contingency plans can be made
- Take responsibility for delivering on the required dates (i.e. sales copy, emails, brochure sign-offs and so on) and not relying on the manager to remember these
Project Management:
- Understand that project management is a key part of this role and that the Content Producer takes overall responsibility for each of their events and therefore must be satisfied with logistics management
- Present a calm, professional and positive image at all times to ensure a general atmosphere of enjoyment, professionalism and networking opportunities at an event
- Keep content programme to time and ensure that the chairman has been briefed on how to achieve this
