Encore Media Group is looking for an in-house talent and HR manager to identify great team members and develop current staff as the business enters its next phase of growth. This role will also assist with company HR, internal employee wellbeing, and advise on team composition and growth. You will contribute to all areas of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment, to creating a positive and dynamic working culture, team socials, to creating leading pathways for employee progression, training and development.
Headquartered in Bristol, Encore Media is a diverse and dynamic events, venues, and publishing business. Through our group companies; TechEx, TechForge, Digital Marketing World Forum and Bristol Venues, we host events for over 100,000 people every year, our news publications reach over 7 million annually and our iconic Bristol Venues attract visitors far and wide. The business runs international events in Amsterdam, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, London and the like.
Because of the fast-growth nature of the group, launching news venues and events, we are constantly recruiting for various roles across all 4 companies in line with our ambitious expansion plans, and currently require over 20 positions filled.
You will be the face of our business, and the first touch point with prospective new additions to the team, and building employee engagement.
You’ll have an enthusiasm for working with people, and enjoy building the wellbeing of all employees, and ensure we find the right people to build the business and teams. You will be responsible for writing job adverts with hiring managers, candidate screening, coordinating interviews for hiring managers, building team socials, creating internal development plans, and more.

You will additionally responsible to support candidate application queries and onboarding new hires to the Encore Media Group.
Qualifications / Experience
Other requirements include:
- A proven work experience as an internal recruiter & HR would be beneficial but not essential but a solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting and employee cycle is needed. We are seeking a collaborative individual who can multi-task efficiently and support the talent growth across Encore Media Group.
